Description

The Zodiac Sea Dragon Chronograph ZS2240 (ZO2240) combines bold 1970s styling with the precision and convenience of a Ronda 5021.D quartz movement. Its approximately 43mm stainless steel cushion case frames a black dial with twin recessed subdials, bright red timing accents, luminous hands and hour markers, and a date window at six o’clock. A black rotating timing bezel and an inner tachymeter scale reinforce its sporting character, while the movement provides a 30-minute chronograph and separate running seconds. Originally rated for 100 meters of water resistance, the Sea Dragon pairs brushed steel surfaces with polished details and a textured black rubber strap, delivering distinctive vintage appeal in a practical everyday chronograph.

The crystal is clear and free of scratches or edge-chips. The original dials and hands are beautiful, with no stains or discoloration. Overall the case is in wonderful condition with faint spider marks consistent with careful use. A new battery was installed October, 2026.
