$16,500.00

Description

Offered is a highly desirable, early-production Rolex GMT-Master Ref. 16750 “Pepsi,” dating to circa 1980, serial number 6,303,XXX. This collectible transitional GMT-Master features a genuine Rolex matte black tritium dial with beautifully preserved yellow-cream hour markers, aged tritium hands, and a striking faded blue-and-red aluminum bezel insert. The dial retains its vintage matte finish, and its manufacturer’s markings were inspected during the recent professional movement service. The stainless steel 40mm Oyster case is accompanied by a genuine Rolex Oyster bracelet, reference 78360, fitted with the correct 580 end links. Powered by the reliable Rolex caliber 3075 automatic movement, featuring a quickset date and 28,800 bph frequency, the watch has recently been professionally serviced, including installation of a new mainspring and acrylic crystal. The dial, hands, bezel, and other vintage cosmetic components have been preserved, maintaining the watch’s authentic period appearance. The case and bracelet exhibit age-appropriate wear. With its early 6.3-million serial number, desirable matte tritium dial, beautifully developed patina, and period-correct Rolex Oyster bracelet, this GMT-Master offers an outstanding combination of vintage Rolex collectibility and everyday functionality.
