Omega Speedmaster Mk.40

Description

Original Omega Speedmaster Mk.40 Day-Date Ref. 375.0084 (175.0084) in a 39mm stainless steel case, featuring the Omega automatic caliber 1151. This Omega has been tested in good working order with the chronograph functioning as designed and keeping time.

The sapphire crystal is clear and free of any scratches or mars. The original dial and hands are beautiful with a bright, full colors, crisp text, and no stains or edge wear. The chronograph cut-outs show light patina speckling appropriate for the age of this piece.

Overall the case is in wonderful condition with both the directionally brushed and polished finishes along the side and lyre lugs. The bracelet is also in excellent condition with tight links. The bracelet will currently fit a 7 to 7.5 inch wrist, with five (5) removable links currently installed.

Please note: the second crown position for changing the date operates when the hands are set to approximately 4:10pm, per the 1151 operating instructions. This function has been tested in good working order.
