1985 Rolex Submariner 16800 in a 40mm stainless steel case, featuring the Rolex 3035 automatic movement. This Submariner has a very unique and original dial with a magnificent tropical “pumpkin” patina and spider-line finish.
This Submariner was serviced in November 2024 and includes the outer box (marked 16800), inner case, insert, hang-tag, leather wallet, and chronometer certification booklet.
The sapphire crystal is clear with no scratches or edge-chips. The black bezel is clean with minor marks under magnification, but no significant scratches. The pearl “pip” shows a light patina, which matches the dial and hands. Overall the case is in wonderful condition, with only faint marks consistent with age, but no significant scratches, dents, or marks.
This Submariner is paired with the original Rolex 93150 Steelinox bracelet with 593 end-caps. The bracelet will currently fit a 7.5 inch wrist.
