1978 Seiko 7025-8099 “Poor Man”

Original January, 1978 Seiko 7025-8099 “Poor Man’s 62MAS” in a 39mm stainless steel case, featuring the Seiko 7025A automatic movement. This Seiko has been tested in good working order with all functions operating as designed.

The crystal is clear with a few light marks, that don’t impeded the viewing or distract the eye. The original dial and hands are clean, with no water damage or stains. Both the hands and dial hardware show a light patina consistent with age. The bi-directional bezel rotates smoothly and is not loose or have any wobble. The original bezel insert also has light wear, but all the numeral and indices and clear and legible. Overall the case is in good condition considering the age. This Seiko includes a new, unworn, black rubber strap with dive-extension. The strap has a red underside and quick-release pins.
