This watch is stunning in every way. The crystal is clean with no scratches or mars. The original dial is beautiful with a light patina and fading. The original hands show a matching patina and fading with the dial. The original bakelite bezel is gorgeous with light marks consistent with 50 years of age. The case is in wonderful vintage condition with light marks consistent with age, but no significant scratches or dents.

The Seamaster 600 Professional model, also called the “PLOPROF” for “Plongeur Professional” or “professional diver,” was launched in 1970. The Ploprof was developed by OMEGA in conjunction with Jacques Cousteau and Comex which is the French commercial diving company usually associated with Rolex. It took over 4 years to design and create this watch. The case is made out of one piece of steel.
