Description

1970’s Omega Seamster Chronograph 176.001 in a 38mm stainless steel case, featuring the Omega Cal. 1040 automatic movement. This Chronograph has been tested in excellent working condition, with the chronograph functioning as designed and resetting to “0.”
The crystal is clear and free of scratches or mars, through there is a light discoloration to the crystal edge when viewed from the 12 o’clock position (see photos). The Crystal is marked in the center with the Omega hallmark.
The blue sunburst dial is beautiful, with a light patina consistent with age. The dial has no stains. The original hands match the patina and age of the dial, with the minute counter retaining the bright orange color. Overall the case is in good condition with light marks consistent with age. The caseback Omega symbol is very faded, with the caseback appearing to have been refinished. The interior of the caseback is marked appropriately and the caseback is original. The caseback serial number is still visible: 99406
Includes a new UNCLE “President” stainless steel bracelet with solid links. The bracelet includes five removable links and will currently fit a 8.5 inch wrist.
