Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon Submarine Warfare DM2276A in a 42mm Titanium case, featuring the RR1102-C Automatic movement. This Ball has been tested in excellent working order and is ready for wear. This watch is a shop-worn example and is in wonderful condition, with a few light marks on the lugs.

The Ball Watch Company Engineer Hydrocarbon Submarine Warfare is the latest classic modern Ball watch, bringing perks of being overbuilt, bold, aggressive in style and of course the signature tritium gas tubes that give Ball watches the ability to maintain high visibility through prolonged periods of darkness. Further, the new Hydrocarbon timepiece features a much wearable size at 42mm.

The latest Submarine Warfare titanium case is 42 mm in diameter, 53mm in lug-to-lug, and 16.5mm tall. The watch is water resistant to 300meters/1000ft featuring a screw-down crown with Ball’s patented locking system, a Ball patented Mu-metal shield for unsurpassed anti-magnetic of up to 80,000A/m. and shock resistant to 7,500Gs. The uni-directional rotating bezel in blue which features for the first time in this collection bears luminous for exceptional nighttime legibility.

In total, the timepiece boasts 16 tritium tubes, filled with self-powered tritium gas whose energy is released when the H3 molecules strike the tubes’ internal surfaces. The result is continuous, long-lasting luminosity, up to 25 years without requiring a recharge from any outside light or energy source.
