Description
Offered here is a 1996 Rolex Submariner Date 16610 in stainless steel, powered by the Rolex calibre 3135 automatic movement. This example features the classic 40mm case, black aluminum bezel insert, and glossy black dial with white gold–surrounded luminous hour markers. The case shows light wear consistent with age but retains strong overall proportions, and the bezel rotates properly with firm, defined clicks. The crystal is clear and the date magnifies correctly under the Cyclops.
Accuracy Testing: +/-5SPD / 288 Amp / .1ms
The Oyster bracelet is reference 93150 with 501B end links and a Z6 clasp code, correct for the period. It shows normal stretch and surface wear expected from a 1996 example but remains solid and fully functional. The bracelet currently has one (1) removable link installed and will fit approximately a 7.5 inch wrist.
This Submariner was serviced in February 2026 and is running properly. The calibre 3135 is a COSC-certified chronometer known for durability and ease of service, offering a quickset date and approximately 48 hours of power reserve. Overall, this is a clean, honest mid-1990s Submariner that presents well and wears exactly as a 5-digit Submariner should. As always, please review all photos carefully, as they represent the exact watch being offered.
