1982 Rolex Submarine Date 16800 in a 40mm stainless steel case, featuring the Rolex Cal. 3035 automatic movement. This Rolex is in excellent running condition, keeps excellent time and is ready for wear or collection.
The cyclops sapphire is clear with no scratches or mars. The original matte dial has a beautiful tropical patina, with fading to a brown/black, and light speckling. The indices and hands show a similar tropical patina that gives this Sub a unique appearance consistent with its 40 years.
The black steel bezel shows light marks, but no significant gouges or dents. Overall the case is in good condition, showing its 40 years, with consistent marks (see photos).
The Rolex solid-link 93150 Steelinox bracelet is in good condition, has a minimal amount of slack/stretch, and includes two extra links. The bracelet will currently fit a 7.5 inch wrist.
