Original 1960’s Gallet Multichron 12 Chronograph in a 37mm stainless steel case, featuring the Excelsior Park “High Accuracy” EP 40-68 hand-wound chronograph.
The water-resistant case features a screw-down caseback and round, and pump pushers. Overall, the shape is graceful and elegant for a sport watch, which works really well. The facets lugs are crisp on our example with clearly defined lines, allowing the original design to shine through. An “H” is stamped on the rear of the one o’clock lug, a quirky feature of all EP powered Gallet chronographs.
The Gallet Multichron Model 12 ‘Jim Clark’ Chronograph, is nicknamed after Indy and F1 Driver Jim Clark, who wore the Gallet during this 1965 Indy 500 Victory.
This Gallet includes a New Wrist Wraith watch roll; extra Holland & Sherry houndstooth strap; and a TLC warranty/authenticity card.
