Description

Original vintage 1954 Breitling Cadette Ref. 1185 in a 38mm gold case, featuring the Venus Calibre 188 chronograph hand-wound movement. This Breitling has been tested in good working order and the chronograph resets to zero.
The crystal is clear and free of scratches or cracks. The original dial is stunning, with no stains or edge-wear. The dial has a light patina consistent with age. All numerals and dial hardware are crisp and clean. The original hands are also sharp, with a light patina, which matches the dial.
Overall the case is in wonderful condition with light spider-lines consistent with age, but no significant dents, dings or marks.  The caseback does show light marks and impressions (see reference photos).
The caseback exterior is marked 1185, and the interior caseback is Hallmarked appropriately. Interior caseback serial number: 837147.
Includes a new black, lizard, two-piece strap with gold-tone buckle.
