A beautiful example of the 1960’s Gallet Multichron Model 12 ‘Jim Clark’ Chronograph, nicknamed after Indy and F1 Drive Jim Clark, who wore the Gallet during this 1965 Indy 500 Victory.
This Gallet resides in a 37mm stainless steel case and features the 17-Jewel Excelsior Park 40-68 hand-wound chronograph. This Gallet is in excellent working condition, with all chronograph functions operation as designed.
The deep black, gloss dial is stunning with no speckling, edge-wear, or degradation of the numerals. The crystal is clear and free of scratches and mars. The case is in wonderful condition with the original finishes and only faint marks consistent with 60+ years.
This Gallet has been paired with a new, brown, horween leather strap, with a brushed stainless steel buckle.
