1969 Longines Diving Chronograph 8224-3

1969 Longines Diving Chronograph Ref. 8224-3 in a 43mm stainless steel case, featuring the Longines 330 (Valjoux 726) hand-wound chronograph. This Longines has been tested in good working order and is ready for wear or to be added to a collection.

The acrylic crystal is clear and free of scratches or mars. The inner rotating bezel turns smoothly with the left-side crown. The original dial is clean, with a wonderful tropical patina, and light speckling. The original hands are bright, though the lume is worn on the hour and minute hands. Both Longines crowns are present and hallmarked correctly. Overall the case is in good condition with marks and lines consistent with age (see photos).

Includes the “Bambi” bracelet with Longines buckle. The bracelet shows a fair amount of stretch between links, and will currently fit a 8-inch wrist.
